The container is in place at DOKK1

On 19 May, the BioPod container was lifted into place at DOKK1 on Hack Kampmanns Plads in Aarhus. After months of preparation, the container now stands on the waterfront, where thousands of citizens pass by every day.

Getting ready to grow

The container is now being fitted out inside: growing racks, the water loop, and climate control are being set up, and the camera inside the container is being mounted so we can follow the plants once the first cycle begins.

The container can be viewed at DOKK1, Hack Kampmanns Plads 2, 8000 Aarhus C. Take a walk along the waterfront and see the closed loop with your own eyes — and follow along on this site as the growing begins.
