LivingLab

Privacy policy

This policy explains how NordicFlexHouse ApS processes personal data when you use the LivingLab site for the BioPod container at DOKK1.

Last updated: 16 August 2026

Data controller

The data controller for the processing of your personal data is NordicFlexHouse ApS, Lautruphøj 1-3, 2750 Ballerup, Denmark. If you have questions about the processing, you can contact us at data@biopodcontainer.dk.

What data we collect, and why

The site has two forms, and we only get the details you enter in them yourself. In “Request a tour” we collect your email address, which we use solely to arrange a visit to the BioPod container with you. In “Interested in a BioPod?” we collect whether you want to buy, lease, or rent, your name, your email address, and any message you write — we use those solely to answer your inquiry. When you submit a form, your IP address is also processed transiently in the server's memory to prevent spam and abuse; it is not stored with your submission and is not included in the email to us.

Lawful basis

We process the details you enter in either form on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form, cf. Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation. The transient processing of your IP address for spam prevention is based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse, cf. Article 6(1)(f).

Storage and processors

The details from both forms are stored together with the time of submission on our own server, where the site is hosted, and are at the same time sent as a message to our own mailbox at one.com so that we can reply to you. Our hosting provider and our email provider one.com act as our data processors and only process the data on our instructions.

Retention

We keep your details for as long as it is needed to answer your inquiry or to arrange and carry out your tour — no longer than necessary. We then delete them. We delete them both here on the site and in our mailbox at one.com. If you want your details deleted sooner, write to data@biopodcontainer.dk and we will remove them in both places. We take automatic backups of the site, so a deleted detail may still exist in a backup for up to 30 days, after which it disappears on its own.

Cookies

When you visit the site, we set only two cookies, and both are necessary for the site to work. “livinglab_locale” remembers whether you read the site in Danish or English and expires after one year. “livinglab_consent” remembers your choice in the cookie banner so you are not asked every time, and expires after six months. Both are our own, and neither is used to follow you across websites. Necessary cookies may be set without consent. We use no statistics, analytics, or marketing cookies, and no third party sets cookies through the site. If we ever introduce optional cookies, they will only be set once you have said yes in the banner — never before. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page, and you can always delete cookies in your browser.

Third parties

Videos, images, and fonts are hosted by us. The site loads no third-party trackers, ad networks, or analytics tools.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to object to the processing, and the right to withdraw a consent. To exercise your rights, you can write to us at data@biopodcontainer.dk.

Complaints to the Danish Data Protection Agency

If you are dissatisfied with how we process your personal data, you can lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby — www.datatilsynet.dk.
