About LivingLab @ DOKK1
LivingLab is a public demonstration of the BioPod container — located at DOKK1, Aarhus' library and cultural centre on the waterfront. Here, everyone can follow how fresh vegetables are grown in a closed loop, right in the city.
Why?
Future food production needs to be closer to the people who eat it. LivingLab is about urban farming, circular food production, and community learning: when the container stands in the public square, sustainable cultivation becomes something you can see, follow, and understand — not just read about. The camera in the container documents the growth, and the clips are collected in the gallery as a timeline from sowing to harvest.
